Our properties are located on a secluded 50-acre area in the foothills of the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas. We are only 8 miles from DeGray Lake State Park and 18 miles from Hot Springs National Park. At Lone Cedar Cabins we offer cozy lodging accommodations in the great outdoors where roughing it means relaxing in front of the fireplace, watching the wildlife from the covered porch and snuggling into a queen-size bed for a good night’s sleep. Our lodgings are secluded with beautiful views and family friendly. For an absolutely wonderful alternative to crowded hotels, make your plans to have an entire cabin to yourself in beautiful rustic surroundings, yet only minutes from Arkansas’ most famous attractions, and all for a surprisingly affordable rate at Lone Cedar Cabins…“Roughin’ it in Comfort!”
What this place offers
Extra cots & Pack ‘n Play with sheets provided upon request. Linens & towels provided. Gas log fireplace in living room. Central heat & air. TV/VCR/DVD with an abundance of great classic movies. Radio/CD/Record Player with some cool old vinyls. Covered porch with ceiling fans. Enjoy good old-fashioned fun with horseshoes, cards, puzzles, games & books. Child friendly but not child proof. Plenty of parking. Outdoor shower, outdoor fire pit, picnic table & charcoal BBQ grill. Hiking trail, bird & wildlife watching, stocked catfish pond. Large old school swing set by the pond area.
Know before you book
No pets. A fee of 200.00 will be charged for violation of pet policy. If you are traveling with a certified service animal—please let us know before your arrival. We do not allow emotional support animals.
Cancellation: Cancellation notice must be received at least 3 weeks prior to scheduled arrival date for a full refund of your deposit. If received less than 3 weeks, you will not receive a refund. We do not give refunds for early departure or cancellation due to weather, acts of God, loss of electricity or break down of any appliance. If anything does break down, please contact us immediately. Please understand we are a family-based business, and we depend upon you keeping reservations. We are doing our best to avoid an upfront cleaning fee and to keep our rates affordable. Please treat our cabins as if they were your own. Everybody deserves a clean and well-kept cabin. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

A NOTE FROM THE CABIN KEEPERS: It is our hope that our passion for detail is evident in the building and decoration of our cabins. We have personally torn down old houses and barns. Each reclaimed piece is used with care and thoughtful placement. The landscape that surrounds us is our inspiration. The peaceful valley with its endless trees sets our minds at ease and is the perfect medicine even on the most stressful of days.
